Herbal CSA at Possum Creek
What is an herbal CSA?  It is when a farm offers a selection each month (or each week) of its produce and products to those customers who have subscribed during late winter. Those customer subscriptions gives the farmer the working capital to make it all possible.

Possum Creek is offering a six month herbal community sustainable agriculture subscription. Price is $250, payable immediately by calling us with your credit card  (423) 332-0347 or dropping a check in the mail to Possum Creek Herb Farm, 528 Nature Trail, Soddy Daisy, TN 37379. You may visit our retail shopping cart and click on CSA to pay through our cart.

We are in our infancy with this program and will only be accepting a limited amount of subscriptions in 2010. Be part of a new movement by ordering your subscription soon.  CSA boxes can be picked up at the farm the first Sat. of month or at the Chattanooga Market the first Sunday of each month.  Online option is available (shipping will be UPS 3 Day Select).  You will receive the following each month  (this is an estimation):

April: Perennial/Annual herb/vegetable plants organically grown here at the farm.
May: Tea and native plants organically grown here at the farm.
June: Fresh cut herbs, teas, and value added products such as pesto and jellies
July: No CSA pickup
August: Fresh cut herbs, teas, and value added products, cookbooklet
September: Medicinal herbal products such as tinctures, balms, soap
October: Teas, bath brews, bath salts, potpourri, bundles, seasonings
